Re: Cross-year compatibility: ABS Controller
Ywp, it's still working fine. Make sure you back up the old configuration to restore prior to pulling the old one. (Or else pull the "as-built" config from FoMoCo). I screwed up restoring my old file and had an error message until I figured out that I needed to restore the file properly.

Re: Cross-year compatibility: ABS Controller
43 days so far (not that I'm counting or anything!) and all is good. Hopefully this will last long enough for me to sunset this vehicle in the next year or two.

Re: config charge since rebalance
Tried rebalance (yesterday) on 2008 Escape Hybrid, it took a few times b4 it started to work. Got up to 100% then started over but this time at 50%. This went on for just over 2 hours (starting over at 50% to 100%). Not sure how many more times it would have repeated the tests but it got late and ...

Re: ABS module
do you have the Forscan extended license installed? (Not exactly sure if it's necessary for this operation, but that's the only thing that could cause this I think)

Re: Cross-year compatibility: ABS Controller
well, the 2009 abs module is now in the 2010. After many pressure brake bleeds, ABS services bleeds, multi-configurations, and a re-do of the configuration load (I screwed it up before) everything seems to be working OK. And my mechanic ran the VINs from both my vehicle and the 2009 donor vehicle ...

Re: 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid Brake Issue
i imagine that you worked this out by now
but i figured i'd post here in case anyone else wanders through with the same issue.
happened to my car at the mechanic's. he ran through the power brake bleed four or five times and then everything went back to normal.

Re: New (used) ABS module- what to test?
So I ended up going back out and taking screenshots of all the Controllable PIDS (and all of the readable for completeness' sake). (I wish there was a way to dump these directly from FORSCAN, but if there is, I couldn't find it). I'm not sure if there's anything else in a non-hydraulically connected ...

New (used) ABS module- what to test?
So I bought a used ABS module to replace my wonky one (which has been running GREAT since I did a module reset :( ). Based on a youtube diagnostic video I watched, I fired up FORSCAN in output control mode to operate the valves on the present original ABS and was able to hear all the valves clicking ...
