Firmware changelogs?
Now with the recent firmware update support, are there any changelog/firmware history available.
It seems stupid to go through the update process if you don't know what's changed.
Updating IPC/ACM might be one thing but other critical stuff like ABS or PCM modules seems risky.
I mean, don't fix ...

@paddy2204
My Mondeo mk4 was built in -08 (model year 09), I can access all firmware update procedures.
Are you using extended license? You need that to be able to see all features.

Re: Real milage?
A small follow up.
I checked mileage on other modules after temporarily refitting the old the IPC, they all showed the same as the IPC i refitted.
So mileage only seems to be saved in the IPC and other modules read from that value.
The car inspection service didn't mention anything either when I ...

Re: Mondeo MK4 - IPC Update crashed
Successfully recovered. "Stop activity on busses" might have helped, or it was a dodgy USB port on the laptop.
The procedure said "successfully programmed" but it also said the module was bricked.
I checked and had loads of DTCs but I also noticed the backup settings in the IPC was gone, so i loaded ...

@Forscan
The original profile is present, I will try your instructions as you described in our mail conversation, I just need to find some time to do it.

Re: Mondeo MK4 - IPC Update crashed
it was the original ipc you tried to upgrade :?:
The original is flaky, the IPC i tried to upgrade is an OEM replacement part from another car.
The settings on it were wrong so I loaded from asbuilt and wrote to the IPC, I also wanted to correct the mileage. And I thought why not upgrade it ...
