It has been a while since someone posted here, but I would like to share my experience with this method.
My Ford (Kuga 2017) has the lock and unlock buttons in the driver's door.
And with the 3x lock/unlock method I could successfully activate the mode for activating or deactivating speed lock. For deactivating it was short honk and for activating there were 2 short honks.
But when I tested it shortly after, the speed lock has not been activated when surpassing the certain speed.
And I also do not see a main setting for this in the driver's display settings.
So I am not sure why it is not working, since the setting was obviously activated with said method.
