Can the start/stop function still be enable when I press the start/stop button? I just want this function to be set off every time when I start the car. But it still can work when I need it.

I tried with your method seem like work fine, but i saw IPC show some message as bellow, what is the mean? Is BMS has been disabled also?

I'm sharing my test with the rest of you to use as a exactly that; a test, I can not guarantee anything.
All I can say is I figured it out on my 2017 F150 and it hasn't exploded yet.

To summarize, I think a 100% auto stop/start disable would look something like this (I left my IPC stop/start message center enabled so I can still monitor it):

BCM 726-48-02 x0xx xxxx xx

FCIM 7A7-01-01 xxxx x0xx xx (optional - disables switch)
IPC 720-01-01 xxxx 1xxx xx (optional - disables stop/start message center on 2017 F150)

Please confirm if you encounter positive results in other Ford: vehicles, trim or model years.

I 2nd this! Is there a way to simply change the logic to deactivate start/stop at the beginning but still have the possiblity to press the button to activate it if needed? Simply after start the engine I want to see start/stop button light on. Do we want that much ? I don’t want to disable it completelly but simply to have it disabled after start so i don’t need to press the button after each vehicle start...

Was researching this for my daughter's new 2020 Escape SE just to see if it was doable. Could be, it seems...

As for the idea of it defaulting to off but still functional, a very simple circuit could be built that would close the circuit for a second, 30 seconds after getting power or whatever seems appropriate.

However, the install would be HUGE. Easier to buy that $99 defeat for it that plugs into the OBD-II port.

Joined the forum just to post that this works in a 2019 Ranger Raptor.

Thank you everyone, I was hating the otherwise brilliant truck due to this, especially when it repeatedly stops with a stone cold engine - engines nor oil likes that at all.
