Hi there,
I want to know if a Firmware Browser like the function "Additional Functions - Firmware Download" in UCDS is planned.
So that everyone with a paid licence can select Firmware Files to download.
I.E. I have a BM5T Camera and want to test the last Release called CV4T.
Forscan does not show me this as update, but if I know the name of the file I want to load it manually and flash it with CUSTOM Function to device.
Do you know anything about something like this?
This will be an argument to settle to paid licences.
Best regards
Karsten

Re: Firmware Browser for Paid Licences
Hi friend,
I mean that you can search for any file you want to.
You can load them in UCDS too. If you know the correct name i.e. BT4T-14D207-BA you can browse the Ford servers to load it.
To load them with the three dots as mentioned you need them onto your harddrive. But where can I find them to load?
Yes, Forscan knows some Versions from your desired module, but: If you want to reflash a module you need other software which Forscan does not show because the Module name differs.
I.E. BK2T-19H406-AF is a front camera for Transit Connect models. With some luck (if good memory is equipped into the camera) you can reflash it to a BM5T-19H406-AG from Focus.
Online you pay for transit cameras 80-150 Eur and for BM5T 170-250 and up.
So you can get a Focus cam at least 80 Eur with much luck.
Best regards
Karsten
