hi everyone,

i have fiesta mk8 1.0 auto keyless entry

i did

BCM module- configuration parameters
• Remote start - enable
Hood Switch enable

IPC module - configuration parameters
Hood switch enable
• Remote start - enable
• Remote start - climate settings- enable

i have all 3 keys working but my problem is HOOD AJAR LIGHT WARNING . i dont have hood ajar sensor

i have same problem any idea how can i fix hood ajar light warning

You need to replace the hood lock.one wire goes to BCM(don’t know witch one for the Fiesta) the second one goes to the car body other the circuit is open that’s why you have the hood ajar on.

Hi !

Remote start the car ( Ford S-Max 2.0 TDCi 2017 PowerShift )

4Button Remote smart Key 433 or 434 MHZ DS7T-15K601-EF (please see ford etis )

To activate Remote Start, first you need a new key fob with start button (part # DS7T-15K601-EF for S-Max mk2 with 434 MHz).

Note ! remove the metal blanks from the keys, the car doors are closed and the handbrake deactivated.

Programming keys
Determine the backup slot of the passive key.

Place the first programmed key in the backup slot. Press the START / STOP button.
Wait for 4-5 seconds, then press the START / STOP button.
Extract the first programmed passive key.

Within 5 seconds, place the second programmed passive key in the backup slot, then press the START / STOP button.
Wait for 4-5 seconds, then press the STOP-STOP button.
Extract the second programmed key.

Within 5 seconds, place the unprogrammed passive key in the backup slot and press the START / STOP button.

Car doors lock and opened, lights blink
Congratulations on your new key being programmed !!!

Now use Forscan to change the asbuilt-data

• Remote start - climate settings- enable
• Remote start - front seat- enable (optional)
• Remote start - rear defrost – enable (optional)
• Remote start - steering feel – enable (optional)

• don't change anything ( old keys can also be used in the future )

New here, and after reading through I can say the following:

for my 2019 S-MAX the above procedure didn't work - BUT I managed to get this working
After ordering a new key with remote start button, I had to do the following:

• Using Forscan with full 1-year license and the recommended cable.

• Under the service menu (wrench icon) found the setting that has PATS in the description

• Activated this procedure, got a warning that it must be with supported cable and full license -> confirmed

• There were a couple of options there, one was to enable the programing procedure (which I believe what enables the procedure described in the 1st post here) -> I enabled it.

• placed my new key with the remote start button on the programming tray.

• There is an option to program a new key -> ran this, it confirmed that the new key is programmed.

• Exited this PATS settings.

• In the modules menu in IPC and BCM enabled the options as described above (didn't change any RTM)

• exited everything, tuned off the car, got out, locked the car.

• on the new remote press once on "lock" and then twice on the "remote start" button -> the car starts

All keys (old and new) are working (button, proximity and ignition) without the need to be in the programming tray.

I did bypass for hood switch. Now working on Fiesta mk8

ignition key programmering
erase and program keys
spare keys programmable

Could be, the key must be empty - I ordered this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006236115751.html and it worked
