(PLEASE HELP) IPC Firmware doesn't download!

Good Afternoon, i am trying to update my MKZ Cluster firmware so i can get the updated trip computer with more updated information. As of right now i have the older firmware version where it shows me the speed limit on my cluster. i know the newer firmware took this feature out.. When i open IPC firmware module update and go to where it says "To Program" I select available then click the download button located at the bottom. When i click download nothing happens at all.. I have no firmware options under Available.... I have went to "factory" to download my current firmware files but whenever i go to "Factory it says hardware not compatible for some reason.. I swear older FORscan versions never had these issues and ill probably end up getting my hands on an older version which works. i recently updated my pc and lost my older version which i never had an issue with.....
