The code format screenshoted by william is only available on latest generation of modules (Ford/Mazda starting from 2007-2009 model year). Mondeo Mk3 is 2 generations older, it has no statu and subcodes.
Back to the issue: fred08155 provided more information by email and it seems he is right - there are additional fault codes for ICU/FIP module in Mondeo Mk3 TDCi (2003-2007). These codes provide an additional information about the malfunction, so simplify finding it. This is a specific of vehicles with Delphi fuel equipment, ICU/FIP related DTCs reported by PCM should have additional fault codes and there should be a way to read these fault codes using a diagnostic scanner. Unfortunately, we have no idea yet how to read them, also we haven't seen this function in Ford IDS. We will research this issue when we have a chance.
