Worked perfectly on my 2018 F150 Lariat!

I only got one key from the dealership when i bought it earlier this year, so when i programmed a new one it showed 3 keys in the system. I accidentally setup MyKey on both keys that I had and couldn't reset it.
But this process worked and saved me from paying the dealership $70 to reprogram it all.

Thanks times a million!!!

This process to be clear:

But one of our users found a workaround about how to clear MyKeys with FORScan but without any programming. It can be done in FORScan for Windows or FORScan Lite for iOS, Android. Here is the exact sequence:

1. Start the car and connect to it with FORScan.
2 Start PCM KOER test (Tests->PCM Key On Engine Running On Demand Self Test)
3. Wait until the test is completed
4. Remove keyfob from the car in case of keyless system (with engine start button). In case of standard blade key, you have to block the transponder (for example, wrap the keyfob with a foil).
5. Stop the engine (turn the ignition off)
6. Turn the igfnition On but don't run the engine.
7. Go to MyKey menu in your instrument cluster and execute Clear MyKeys option .

Hello, I have a question about the Start/Stop button. Fusion 17, with a keyless system.
4. Remove keyfob from the car in case of keyless system (with engine start button). In case of standard blade key, you have to block the transponder (for example, wrap the keyfob with a foil).
5. Stop the engine (turn the ignition off)
6. Turn the igfnition On but don't run the engine.
Should I turn ON the ignition with a key inside the car which I removing out from the vehicle on step 4? Or I mustn't return the key into the car till the end of all steps?

You have to keep the key outside of the car until after step 6. The key can be used inside the car only once the whole procedure is completed. In my Mustang 2015, I just had to open driver's window and hold the key fob outside. Once MyKey is cleared after step 6, the key fob can be used again inside the car.

Following all steps correctly.....
When I run the test for the IPC- Module configuration I get only 2 reads instead of like the 40 or 50 so options I can toggle with.
1. some random option
2. track key configuration (what is this/it is disabled)

I was told that there would be an option to disable mykey from that ipc. Pls help

I tried this several times on my 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat and I almost gave up hope. I tried one last time and decided to do steps 4,5, and 6 very quickly so the system didn't have time to realize that the key wasn't in the vehicle. It worked! Saved me $350. Thanks for the help!

I have followed the steps to a tee. When I turn the ignition on once my remote is wrapped in foil and the mykey is not active, my radio goes to full volume and there are no warning sounds about the mykey the mykey menu still not showing up. The problem I am having is my car will not start until I remove the tin foil and take the key out and put in back in without the tin foil mykey is then active. Am I missing something. I have a 2012 Ford Fusion. I am using FORScan lite

:D this was a life saver! I have keyless and tried this multiple times but it kept failing. Then it dawned on me that I can’t leave my door open while turning truck off. Duh. FYI… this worked on a 2018 f-150.

FORScan wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2019 7:43 am It is typical situation when people have MyKey enabled and have no Admin key that would allow to clear MyKey feature. Previously, our support answered that there are 2 ways to do it with FORScan:

1. Reprogram PATS - erase all known keys and program 2 new ones. This removes MyKey completely, but it is quite "heavy" way: it requires 2 working different good quality keys and PATS programming functions (in FORScan it is available not for all models).

2. Disable MyKey options in IPC and other modules if available. This removes chimes and warnings, but not MyKey itself. Some limits, like speed limit, may remain active after this procedure.

But one of our users found a workaround about how to clear MyKeys with FORScan but without any programming. It can be done in FORScan for Windows or FORScan Lite for iOS, Android. Here is the exact sequence:

6. Turn the igfnition On but don't run the engine.
7. Go to MyKey menu in your instrument cluster and execute Clear MyKeys option .

You now have MyKey removed.

Note: this was tested on cars with gasoline engine, not tested on diesel engines. "

Please leave your feedback on this method.

Oh my goodness! Finally got it 2016 F-150 keyless entry keyless start. with the "PCM selftest koer and remove key from truck. I actually got it an hour ago or so HOWEVER I already went into the IPC module and disabled all of the mykey features..(this did help temporarily to remove volume and speed limiting!).. that said, every time I went back to the settings in the dash to erase all mykeys did not populate, only because I already disabled it in the IPC module  I realized that one of the "restricted satelite stations" was now playing!!!! At that moment I realized that I had disabled the mykey, I then went back to the IPC module and enabled the mykey features and voala! the mykey option on the dash now populated and thus the erase all mykeys! Then it took me a few tries to realize I had to hold the OK button down to finally reset all mykeys :D

I hope this helps someone that has already disabled all of the mykey options in the IPC module

Thank you everyone that posted helpfull information!! Thank you FORScan for this software! saved me 250 for a Stealership keyless key and 140 for Stealership to program!!!

I have a 2016 Cmax Energi and have 2 key FOBS. Under the Information screen, My Key shows 0 keys and 1 Admin key. When one of the two FOBS is used, the 80 MPH limitation shows up on the screen. When the other FOB is used, there is no 80 mph limitation. I have tried the posted clearing procedure at least 6 times and have had zero success removing the admin key. My Key has never appeared under Settings and there is no way I am able to create another My Key.
Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong trying to clear My Key considering this is a Hybrid vehicle? I would just like to be able to see My Key in settings rather than only in the Information screen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
