Where to buy a compatible adapter?

Found this one on Amazon for $29.99, received it today, and it worked perfectly on my 2015 F-150 Platinum:

Keep in mind that you DO need the extended license.
Also, if you've already created a profile for your vehicle and said you don't have "a switch" on the adapter, delete the profile and create a new one.

i want to be able to use my touqe pro app while i drive as well on the phone... so not sure whats the best thing to get.

any one have a idea of what i should get that can be used on the computer and the phone for other apps than this?

I bought this adapter recently to cycle the ABS pump on my Mk. 7 (MY16) Fiesta ST and it worked perfectly. Described on Amazon as "Dailyinshop ELS27 FORScan OBD2 USB Scanner".

Shopped around quite a lot to find a convincing looking adapter which was described as using an STN1170 chipset.

YMMV of course but the adapter I received works fine for this usage Seems it is a Viaken STN1170 chipset inside (or at least a compatible clone).

When I read the CANBUS I see a handful of minor DTCs, some of which I suspect may be incorrect interpretations. The car passed its service and MOT recently at a main dealer and the garage did not remark about any unacknowledged DTCs or ECU issues so I'm happy. I also have a slightly unusual immobiliser on the car which may be causing one or two of these as false positives. I don't know enough about how it's coded to interact with the ECU to know for sure.

I can confirm that this tool works fine on a 2014 Fusion.

It did only partially work with my Smax 8566AXD from 2011. With forscan 2.19 extended license for Windows 7, it could not find the service to set the electronic brake into service mode.

latest update of forscan lite cost me of sucessfull connection with my elm327 bt adapter. Until now, everything was ok, today after the update, it says that i have a bad clone.

So, my existing elm adapter is 1.5 version, will 2.1 version work with new version of forscan lite?

Looking at the update history under "What's New" at https://forscan.org/ it's obvious that the Forscan development team is very active. Pretty amazing considering all of this work is FREE.

Either be patient and wait or go buy a commercial product if you can't wait.....
