Fully agree with you but the 2 versions are quite different so how can you gain experience if not using it ?

If you are comfortable with it go for it! As long as one does the research and knows it's limitations. I too wanted it four or five years ago and Forscan wasn't letting it out until they were a little more confident in your ability to be more effective and help develop it. I used the other releases until last year and the experience with was quite appropriate for 2.4.3. It gave a good base to the point where with the right equipment your know what you can and can't do and also be helpful. Most of my posts on this site and XDA try to help others.

The latest is not 2.4.2. Forscan team removed the download link to that old version and do not list the latest.

Not sure if this is the actual proper place for it but I see no official notes on the request process.

I would like to request access to the latest 2.4 build. Recently picked up an OBDLink EX for the express purpose of doing a few firmware updates (namely the PAM to accompany my Sync 2 > Sync 3 upgrade and get the parking functions working again).
