I have 4 x Mazda's, 1 x Audi TT 1 x Mitsubishi vehicles so my guess is to only use the vgate vlinker hardware you spoke of earlier? Am I correct?

The vLinker is cheap & is going to be ok for any vehicle supported by FORScan. The audi & mitsubishi will require different software & adapters.
