FORScan also does not download the firmware file. This is an HCM update to fix auto-leveling headlamps and I need it for towing.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Sorry, I thought posting the file I needed was enough.

2022 F150 Platinum Powerboost 3.5TT with 10r80 Hybrid transmission in the USA.

Using a laptop with OBDLink EX.

No faults, no errors. FORScan just won’t download the update I have been told I need via two users on another F150 forum. They have FDRS and can see what is waiting for me. I apparently have 8 updates waiting, but the one I really need is for my HCM - right now the auto-leveling is backwards and has been confirmed by multiple people. There is an HCM firmware update AK that fixes this problem, but FORScan won’t download it or doesn’t see it.

Thank you.
I assume FORScan shows you don't need any other files to carry out the HCM update or you have any files necessary.

Windows has 2 snipping tools to choose from for providing screen snips. Snipping tool or Snip & Sketch which are very easy to use & helps provide info. You just save the image as a file & use the attachments option, add files, place in line. ShareX is another that allows you to do the same but gives a lot more functions FREE. https://getsharex.com/
Snips of what you're seeing in FORScan or any other relevant info helps us help you. Here's how to attach an image. You can preview & fix where it's placed if needed. I've used ShareX to add the sequence numbers.

Users with FDRS should be able to get all update files required for the modules requiring updates, so long as they have your VIN. I already had a VIN, so I could download the file needed.

FORScan shows that I have all files needed. I am being told this is out of date:

Thank you for showing me how to do this - I use screenshots a lot in my work, but I have never figured out how to attach them to the many different forums. Hopefully the above helps.

Can I shoot you my VIN so you have a better idea of what I need?

Thank you.

If there's known updates, it'll usually show up on the FORScan Configuration tab & in "Configuration & Programming > "Module Firmware Update" > "Available" dropdown. This info helps & a VIN also makes finding exact vehicle info much easier.

No worries, it looks like you've mastered it. Yes, these sorts of screen shots provide invaluable info on current calibrations. If there's a known update, if you select the dropdown box (1), it'll usually show the next available & update the file list below. This will be the list of files required. See if there's an update showing in the Available dropdown.

If there's no updates showing, any changes become a custom configuration & you require all files. If you are doing a Custom configuration, (2) Available is changed to Custom & you select the files you're using.
Using the Custom option has its risks & if an unsuitable file is loaded, it could brick a module.

Not a problem. Also provide info on what FORScan is showing as required updates. It'll help us see if what is being displayed in FORScan for your vehicle is the same as FDRS.

I have attached my configuration sans VIN - I have sent that to you in a DM. There are some updates needed, but the HCM doesn't show as being one of them.

It appears as if I have the latest loaded according to FORScan:

Check your settings. Make sure "Allow users to send you PM" is yes. My reply is sitting in my outbox & not sending.

I am having a similar problem with the PSCM. I am trying to download the appropriate zip file for:

PSCM (Power Steering Control Module) Assembly NB3V-3F964-BD Software P/N NB3C-14D003-AB

Under FDRS, I have the appropriate modules (I think), but I can't get the zip file from the IDS server.
ML34-14D005-AB
NB3C-14D003-AB
NB3C-14D007-APC
NB3V-14D004-BD

But I really would like to be able to download the ZIP file from the server, however when I visit

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/diagn ... goryId=288

What am I doing wrong here?
