I replaced the IPC for a UK one.
hardware and software are the same as original EU.
But the scale is not correct, could this be remedied by changing the calibration of an EU IPC?
Or should I perform a complete update?
Hmmm....
If the scale is not correct you may have done the following:
1. its a wrong ipc (like ST or RS one - they can reach 280kph instaed of 260)
2. its the wrong car. Kuga IPC does not work correctly as focus ipc. You have to search for the correct software from your car and reflash the whole ipc
I have had the same, but killing the old gb kuga software (miles were fixed and couldnt be changed to km) and reflash with actual focus soft all went fine. Now there were km and the scale was correct.
Try it.

JS7T-14C026-BJB
JS7T-14C088-AJB
JS7T-14C088-BJB

Can you tell me the correct setting to update an 2017 GS7T IPC to JS7T? Maybe a Screenshot? And did you flash all four files in one run?
Thx!

Hi!
I've flashed the AWD, IPC and BdyCM modules for my Focus RS MK3, all went well during the flashing but only when driving the car I've realized that the drive mode can't be changed as there are none when I press the hardware button on the central console.
Any idea on how I could solve that issue please?

I am afraid, that you may have used a wrong version of Firmware.
So for example a 1.6l TIVCT Engine BCM Software will not fit all requirements a RS engine want to have to.
First you have to turn back to original state.
Then Check the Firmware Name. A firmware BV6T-14XXX-AE can be replaced by XXX-AG or AH etc.
But NEVER by a XXX-BF or greater (i.e. GH etc)
Was the version suggested by forscan?
You used the official last release of forscan?
Forscan 2,40 offered me a AM Version instead my AC. Russian forums told about an AY Version.
But Forscan 2.43 told me to use AE for my BCM Module. After going back from AY to AE all went fine again.
I guessed with AY my Power Steering was not working properly.
So back to AE and all is fine.
After going back to old version try one module after each one and check the result.
I hope it works
best regards

What devices are you using to flash the modules? Forscan said my obdlink mx wasn't good enough.

Hi,
Does the firmware function works on Focus mk4?
I got 'service procedure has been interrupted' when I updated PCM with v2.4.2 & obdlink ex.
'run on SBL' or program directly show me the same error.

I updated most of my modules with newer strategies and as they were being updated it showed the new strategies being programmed in, but on downloading the module information after this, only three showed the new update. The RTGM, the VDM and the SCCM. I'm just wondering why the others don't show being updated as they obviously were shown updating with successful completion . Is there anything else I should be doing? A number of the modules showed more than one update in green and all went through the programming successfully. The numbers were all the same but the last two alphabets were progressively increased.
