What Do You think about VCI-Mini for Toyota& Lexus. In desrciption they wrote it support SAE J1850 PWM?FORScan wrote:As far as we can see on the page, the adapter doesn't support J1850 (used by European Fords up to 2006 and US ones up to 2009). Re: Support of J2534 (Pass-Thru) adapters in FORScan v2.2.*
Hallo everyone! Just want to extend a big thank you to the FORScan team for all the hard work!
I have a China VCM II Clone and I can confirm it works on a Mazda 2004 model. Programmed the As Built to enable/disable seat belt reminder.
I am willing to help test programming functions, just let me know how and where I can be of assistance. I am keen to get the AS Built decoded so that I may unlock some hidden features, like the trip computer, auto lights, auto wipers. On this year model you can not enable the trip computer from the radio by simple radio key press sequence.

Hello, you guys that are running the Vcm adapter, are you able to see all the modules? I Have a 2017 F-250 not all of my modules show up. Mostly the ones I want to play with.. lol Bcm, Tpms, etc.
Thank you
Thank you

For some added information on J2534.
This time with the new updated version 2.3.6 beta:
Working perfect is the CarDaq Plus and the CarDaq Plus 2.
This time both the HS and MS networks are in view with both CarDaq tools.
The connection is very fast and the data refresh is much faster than the ELM that I still currently use.
FORScan staff - very well done and many times I still prefer this version over the Mazda IDS.
This test was on a 2006 Mazda 3 North American vehicle

This is another success with Forscan and the CarDaq products.
Great work Forscan staff.

Re: Support of J2534 (Pass-Thru) adapters in FORScan v2.2.*
I am a new user with Forscan
I am using a Intrepid NEO VI Fire as J2534 Pass Thru,
Had a customer with a Focus 1.8 TDCI where the engine sometimes suddenly stalled
DTC readout gave me ===PCM DTC P0088-71===
Code: P0088 - Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
I then used the oscilloscoop to look at the fuel pressure and I was supprised with the refresh rate of the showed parameters
The rootcause on this vehicle was the connector on the fuel pressure sensor giving a bad connection sometimes and this showed very well in the oscilliscoop while shortly tapping on the connector.
I am used on working with other professional tools but must admit that Forscan in combination with a decent Pass thru device can be a powerfull diagnostic tool
Well done Forscan team

Re: Support of J2534 (Pass-Thru) adapters in FORScan v2.2.*
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Just for your information / confirmation, I use a Chinese clone Mongoose PRO JLR (€40) for my Jaguar XJ and can confirm it can connect to several busses: CAN (500 kbps), SCP (J1850 PWM 41,6 kbps), ISO9141-2 K-line (OBD2) and D2B (5,6 Mbps fiber). Many of these systems were borrowed from Ford at the time.
I use it with the Jaguar SDD software and can access all busses but the software is of course limited to what can be done from such a tool. I'm curious about the SCP (J1850) line as it controls most of the convenience stuff in my car but many projects seem to focus on CAN only nowadays. I have been reading messages from the SCP bus over an ELM (with terminal in Windows) but replaying them into the bus hasn't been a succes but that could be my own inexperience with this matter.
Also been experimenting with an Arduino but I'm not sure if the best route would be let the Arduino create the PWM signal or have it control something like an ELM or J2534 and let those generate the required signals.
Xag

I believe it only the S type jaguar up to approx 2005 that uses 1850 pwm, for engine & transmission coms address $10
as for convenience systems, do you have an address for any of these
