led headlight bulbs

Does anyone know which way aftermarket led headlights should be pointed in 2016/2017 f150 headlight housing? should the led's be pointing side to side or up and down in the housing? Ive installed new ones and after putting it all back together noticed my light is off and i looked at the bulbs and both my bulbs led resistors are pointing different directions in the housing. i need to adjust them just not sure which way they should point.
