Hi!

I cannot get rid of the following two fault codes:

===ABS DTC U3003:17-60===
Code: U3003 - Battery Voltage

Additional Fault Symptom:
- Circuit Voltage Above Threshold

Status:
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
- Test not complete

Module: Anti-Lock Brake / Traction Control Module

Freeze Frame :
-GLOBTIM: 2359650 sec - Global real time
-TOTDIST: 72020.0 km - Total Distance
-MAINECUV: 14.75 Volt - Main ECU voltage supply
-OUTTMP: 23 °C - External Temperature From Sensor

===END ABS DTC===

===RCM DTC U0415:00-2E===
Code: U0415 - Invalid Data Received From ABS Control Module

Status:
- DTC Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Restraint Control Module
===END RCM DTC===

I noticed from another threat that sometimes adapters can cause incorrect fault codes. Could that be the root cause as well? Any other ideas how to start resolving these from here?

Thanks!

What is the vehicle?

What do you mean under "cannot get rid" - do you erase DTC but it won't disappear? Or re-appears again (can be determined by freeze frame data)?

In general the U- codes are considered to be not critical and sometimes even normal (caused by normal work of diagnostic equipment). So if you have no other concerns, we assume it would be safe to just ignore them.

We believe it is not very likely the code was incorrectly read, however we can double check if you email us logs (instruction is on the Contact Us page of the site).

Vehicle is Ford C-MAX, European model. I can erase codes, but they will re-appear after a while. There's no other worries, so I guess I will just go ahead and ignore them.

Looking at your voltage reading, 14.75 is perfectly normal for a car while the engine is running. Its possible that there is a lot of fluctuation in voltage, and maybe a bad connection/bad wire could cause voltage spikes. These spikes would be too fast or intermittent to be seen by a diagnostics computer, and would need a good quality volt meter or similar.

You could try clearing the fault, then jiggling the wires to the ABS unit and see if the error pops up.

I also count on voltage spikes, it will help to clean the connections on ABS main unit
