configuration values in AS BUILT format can be saved on file, is it possible to do this also for textual values?

By textual values do you mean the non AsBuilt Configuration drop down choices? All the non AsBuilt configuration is doing is automating the AsBuilt configuration choices and changes with known configurations in those drop down dialog boxes.
Would really be no need for backup of this because these are changes that are known to work and if something unexpected happens then you just reload the configuration page and choose the original setting that was working!

If you wish to save the changes then saving the AsBuilt to a backup file with the "Save All" button is also saving those"textual values"! Saving the original configuration with the "Save All" button before you make the change in the "textual values" and then make the desired change in the "textual values" and then use the "Save all button" again in AsBuilt, using a different file name for the Backup file will achieve, what it seems, you are asking for!

That may not be what you were looking for but that is the process I have always used!

I know the AS-built backup procedure, my request was to save a reminder (basically a text screenshot) of the literal parameters.
I will post the request in the forum.

This is to have a summary for each module to be consulted, not as a backup which happens with the as-built parameters.

When making multiple/critical changes within FORScan I save screenshots of the program as displayed on my screen, that way if anything unexpected was to happen I can look at the screenshots and see exactly all the information that was displayed in the program/tabs/modules etc before the operation was carried out and compare them in detail.

If you or anyone else would like to try this and are running Windows, and you also have a 'PRINT SCRN' button on your keyboard then here are the steps I use;

1. Once you are looking at the information on the screen/monitor you would like to screenshot - Press 'PRINT SCRN' on your keyboard. A capture of what is displayed on your screen has now been saved to the Windows clipboard.

2. Open Windows program 'Paint' - You can either type it in search or navigate to 'Start button-->Windows Accessories-->Paint'

3. Click the icon of the clipboard in the top left hand corner and the screenshot will be pasted in to Paint.

4. You can also use Paint to add notes etc if you like, and once you're ready you can save in the image format and location/folder of your choice using 'File-->Save As'
