Technical Information on the functions on the 1.6 TDCi engin

Hello FORScan Team!

I own a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi 110cv FAP (06/2009); I would like to know if it would be possible with FORSCAN, maybe in the future, reset the parameters of the adaptive module (PCM reset KAM), turn on / off the FAP/DPF (FAP-off/DPF-off switch, turn off preparation Particulate Filter) and other functions, in general, always related to this type of engine.

Same situation here, I own a Ford Focus mk2 1.6 TDCI 90 HP (psa). It will be great to have some more functions available for modification (like in elmconfig software).
FORscan looks more greatful than the other software, is more compact (the menus).

If you need some logs from my car with Forscan or with Elmconfig i can help you for further development.

This type of PCM doesn't support Reset All Adaptations function. Instead of, it is possible to reset certain subsystems. Some of these reset functions are already implemented in FORScan (DPF, DPS, EGR reset ) but some are still not (intake air throttle valve, cooling fan motor, exhaust gas temperature sensort etc).

Not sure what you mean under turn on/off, if you are talking about disabling DPF (DPF removal), then it is not a service function but rather ECU reprogramming, this is not implemented yet.

Hi, I also own a 1.6 TDCI.
Service Procedure in new software update have new procedures, named (in german language)
-Additivbehällter Nachfüllen
-Additiv entlüften
Am I right that
-Additivbehällter Nachfüllen set a counter Additiv container is full; in this way or in a similar way
-Additiv entlüften must only used if the Additiv container was complete empty? (What do this procedue? Start the additive pump for some seconds? How often should execute the procedure?)

Maybe "Mazda3 Y6 2003-2008 new service functions" is similar.

Kraftstoffadditivbehälter nachfüllen (Refill the Fuel Additive Tank) - carried out if the Fuel Additive Tank is refilled.
Kraftstoffadditiv Systementlüftung (Fuel Additive System Prime) - carried out if the Fuel Additive Tank is replaced or if any of the pipes are disconnected

From diagnostic tester point' of view, both functions are quote simple and similar - tester makes counters reset and initializes FACM configuration with new data. Tester doesn't activate any actuators, such as additive pump. Everything the rest should be performed by modules.

For the Mazda 3 I've read, a possible cause for the DTC 2458 is
"Scheduled maintenance does not have followed"

Anybody know how to set a 1.6 TDCI to "Scheduled maintenance done" or something like that?

As far as we know, Mazda with Y6 engine has the same engine and PCM as Focus Mk2 DV6. We are not sure about maintenance, as far as we know the only maintenance available is the FAT refill.

yet there are no developments to make a parameter reset adaptive engine 1.6 tdci ?
At the moment there is only reset the adaptive values ​​related to EGR valve .
