Hi,

I have a big problem, so at first I wanted to change the vbf in the ecu, because the customer wants to change the gearbox from AT to MT. I found the right VBF for the ecu, but I can't find the right SBL, of course before I started a new thread, I read a lot and unfortunately I can't find it ; /

Can someone help me?

New VBF for manual gearbox:
BG91-14C204-BP.vbf

Are you sure that's the correct file? Post a screenshot of the FORScan ECU programming screen

You have asked for the wrong files. The files you need for programming the current PCM are shown with a red box.
The red box will turn green when you have the files saved in the right location.
Link to download AG91-14C273-AA https://disk.yandex.com/d/XuPAD-QbMRjZhA
Link to download BG91-14C204-CN https://disk.yandex.com/d/orfVNj2wHFvSeg
You will need to unzip & save the the correct FORScan folder.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply, the file that is currently in the ecu with the BP letter is the file I am looking for SBL. The letters in name of vbf you wrote "CN" is the file that was previously in the ECU.

There seems to be a little misconception here(Oldtinfords can correct me if I am wrong?) as the BG91-12A650-PN is the PCM part number/Calibration revision level not the required .vbf files!

The required files to program this PCM with the "Available" set of files are the numbers next to the two red boxes(The red boxes mean those files are not present in the FORScan Calibration files folder. They will turn green when the files are present)

Those two files will need to be downloaded from the internet either from the FORscan Database(if FORscan has encountered them) using the "Download files button" at the bottom left of that screen or from MotorcraftService.com !
Try this link but do not know if it will work from your locale (https://www.fordserviceinfo.com/diagnos ... goryId=288) as they are currently reporting a problem with https://motorcraftservice.com!

Post back if you have trouble with the above and I will see If I have them in my collection or @Oldtinfords might also have them as he seems to have a few more than I do?

Hello,
Thank for your reply, im sorry but i think we missunderstand, so i will start at the beggining.

I got the car with the automatic transmission, the customer told me, please change the tranmission from the automatic to the manual, so i got the job and swap the transmission. Then i decided to change the ECU file, i found the matching VBF from the manual transmission and i then started to searching for SBL becouse after flash VBF there pops the checksum error in many elements.

I tried to download it using Forscan, i searching in forum and also tried to download from fordserviceinfo, after couple of fails i decided to make a new thread and ask you guys about the help, maybe i did something wrong, maybe i found the incorrect VBF for this ECU, i don't know.

Ofc i did the coding on the orginal file(transmission AT->MT) and then on the new file but without succes.

Can someone more exprienced take me a advice?

It is ford s-max 2.0 tdci eu5 163 hp from 2009 - delphi dcm3.5.

ECU HW: 6165LA11010425
VIN: WF0SXXGBWSBE09229
