OBDlink EX to USB-C

I've searched here and on google but cannot find any information.

Been using Forscan on multiple vehicles for years but have a problem with my latest adapter and PC. It works fine via USB on my PC's that have that port, but the new SurfacePro I use only has USB-C ports and the OBD adapter is not recognized when using a variety of USB to USB-C adapters.

If I pull out my ancient SurfacePro with a regular USB port, it connects fine.

When I haul out my large MSI notebook, it connects up fine with the USB 3.0 port but if I connect to its USB-C port it is not found.

Is there a way to use an OBDlink EX via USB-C? :?:

I got it figured out, so here is the issue in case anyone else needs to know.

For some reason the Baud rate was set to 38.4 Kbps but needed to be 115.2
When I tried to change it with the touchscreen to anything else, for some reason it would not. I connected a keyboard with touchpad and it could be changed and now it connects fine using a USB C adapter.

To set the baud rate, go to settings>connection
