Forscan cannot identify my vehicle when I connect up Vgate Vlinker - why is this happening?
Vehicle is 2022 Ford Tourneo Connect.
Any help gratefully accepted.

Make sure you have updated FORScan to the latest version & that the latest vLinker firmware for your device has been dowbloaded from vgatemall & updated.
Assuming FORScan find the adapter, go to settings & set the connection to FTDI & tick.
Com port to auto
Baud to 115200
Tick auto increase

Under ELM specific
Set - Maximum response time, ms to 1

Make sure you have the ignition turned to the on position when trying to connect.
If these are all correct, test on another car to ensure it's not a device issue.

This should help if some of these are incorrect. There are some good help topics worth reading if this doesn't help.
There are other possibilities that may need investigating ir power & earth at the DLC as well as CAN wiring

OK. So I've followed through on the Motorcraft link https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt to discover the as built details of the car and it appears there are no details? Does this mean my vehicle has been messed about with by other than Ford?
