Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble reading my 2019 Ford Focus (built December 2019) with Forscan. I can see all modules except the IPC module. I’m using a Vlinker FS adapter for diagnostics. The Vlinker support team already checked with me, but they couldn’t find any errors in the software either.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could cause the IPC module not to show up?

If you hve used forscan to make any software changes then when you reconnect to the car you shoupd do so without loading a vehicle profile.
You could try downloading a previous version of the software to see it it works.
Also there may be an actual wiring problem with the cluster or the car, fords are quite famous for this. Often the multi plug at the rear of the cluster can have issues.
If your familiar with using a multimeter you could check that you have a good can network from the back of the cluster or at the obd port pins. Between can high and low there should be 60 ohms resistance with the network modules inactive.

I'm sure others will appear with more suggestions.

Worked on it again today, thankfully it stayed dry.
Disconnected the battery’s negative terminal for about 5 minutes, then hooked everything back up.
Loaded a fresh configuration/profile afterward and... YES the IPC module finally came back online!
