I need a file that Forscan cannot find to download so i can complete PCM reprogram via firmware.
2010 Fusion SEL 3.0L FWD
VIN 3FAHP0JG6AR296899

Trying to fix a programming issue. This is a replacement PCM that was working but I had Service Advancetrac warning. Now Forscan cannot read VID block and TRID. Was trying to load factory as built to fix issue with code P1635 Tire/Axle Out of Acceptable Range. PCM had axle ratio wrong. Programming failed and now stuck with incomplete programming. Vehicle still starts and runs. Forscan needs file AE5A-14C204-CMB that it cannot download. I need this file so I can reprogram PCM via firmware.

Thanks for any and all help.

I am Not sure how or what you mean by "Reloading Asbuilt as the only way in these older FEPS based PCM's to do any of the programming you are trying to do is through the VID Block and Firmware update! The Vin Number, Tire size Calculation cruse control and Axle ratio is all programmed in the VID block and then those changes must then be completed/programmed by a complete erase and reload of the PCM calibration Firmware!

Not sure from your description what happened to "Brick" this PCM but that will not happen unless the Firmware update was interrupted during the write/Reload by a FORScan internal Error
More often than not it is caused by a poor/discharged vehicle battery being used and without a charger or power supply on the battery(Or loss of battery power in the Laptop not plugged in) and the vehicle voltage falls below 11 volts+ at which time the PCM will stop responding and basically some hoops will have to be jumped through to recover it(A valid profile will be needed for the recovery button to work and I have done this)!

The erase should not have even started much less the rewrite cant be done in FORScan with out the Firmware files saved on the computer(interrupted write Has happened from an internal FORScan error and I have experience, 2.4.xx is still beta after all)(had to use a much later calibration in my recovery experience after the FORScan fix as the original factory files were also not available anywhere)!

What adapter have you been using(Must be FEPS capable)

The asbuilt is usually asked for in a field Labeled "Vehicle ID (VID) block or if using the Factory or custom Firmware fields it will ask if you wish to download it to load the Factory file and FORScan will go out and get the file at fordserviceinfo.com/asbuilt or you can point it to the AsBuilt(VIN Number.ab) file in your own documents!

If you were using the "Available" drop-down you should have seen a list of PCM part numbers and a "Hardware number"! Any thing in that list that is higher in the Alpha suffix is a later calibration and PCM part number file(AE5A-12A650-CMC is later/newer than CMB)

My 2010 Fusion is an earlier Serial Number than yours(Also 3.0 liter AWD) and shows a much later/newer calibration Part Number(AE5A-12A650-BJA) with a much later F188 strategy file showing as(AU7A-14C204-VJ which is stored in the last saved Profile and shows in the My AsBuilt) and the Hardware number is 9L8A-12A648-KA which can be one of three(KA NA or AB) and all show the same calibration!

The file(-CMB) you are looking for is the original(About early to mid list at the below link) this Fusion came out of the factory with and is not available at fordservice.info either or in the last Calibration file DVD(IDS version 81) from 2012! It has likely been superseded several times as the list of available calibrations at this link is very long, see here: https://www.fordserviceinfo.com/Reprogr ... alibration

It is very possible that a much later calibration is going to have to be found in order to recover this PCM(My VJ calibration is not on the above list (it only lists up to -VH) but FORScan has VJ in the Available drop down for my Fusion and I have those files in my FORScan Calibration folder!

A suggestion is to send your Debug(dump.bin and log files) in to the team by using the support instructions here: https://forscan.org/contactus.html#debug_info

That is all I have from the Information you have given!
