Keys not communicating with car

I'm lost at what my options are. Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

I was driving my 2017 Focus ST yesterday and when I started the car it put up a message on the dash cluster saying "hill start assist not working". Then the cluster showed an air bag light, traction control light, and maybe another light. The radio said "911 services unavailable, please take to dealer." We were out and about, so I drove it to the grocery store on the way home thinking I wouldn't have any issues turning it off and back on. The button did not do anything. I had to stall the manual transmission to get the engine to turn off, but all of the electronics stayed on. I had to disconnect the battery to get the car electronics to turn off.

When I tried to restart it, it is now saying "Ford KeyFree No Key Detected". The key fobs do not lock or unlock the door, and do not communicate with the vehicle at all. I have 2 keys and they both have new batteries with the same result. I even put keys into the console where he 'dead key battery' RFID location is and it still says "No Key Detected"

I towed the car home and have been trying to figure out how to connect Forscan when I cannot get the keys to communicate with the vehicle to get it into accessory mode.

Aside from this current issue we have not had any problems with this vehicle.

P.S. I ohmed out the high and low canbus and it showed 61 ohms.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to any suggestions.

Sounds like the CAN network is down
Start unplugging modules on the network until you can communicate

Check all the fuses in the car.
If there’s a pocket for the key try putting it in there when trying to start it and also try pushing the start button with the actual fob itself to determine whether it’s a communication or keyless system fault.
There may be network issues as mentioned above, and those can be caused by a short, a bad module or even a bad component that’s plugged into a module.

For example I did a mazda that half the car didn’t function normally and it all came down to the reverse camera having water in it and being shorted, in turn it took the whole network down and strange stuff happened like the fuel gauge didn’t work and the boot/trunk wouldn’t open.

Do you have power and 2 grounds at the diagnostic connector? Are you sure the 12 volt battery is ok? ABS module can bring the network down. Try unplugging the connector.
