Lincoln IPC in a 2020 Edge ST

I'm trying to use a Lincoln digital IPC in my 2020 Edge ST and am having some confusing issues. I know this has been covered in older models but none of that seems to pertain to the 2019+

I installed an IPC from a 2020 Lincoln MKZ with LP5T firmware and my car's AB. Everything worked except that I had a wrench icon and DTC U019E complaining that it lost communicate with the Transmission Range Control module. No functional side effects or anything odd and it even had the speed sign recognition.

In an attempt to resolve the wrench icon, I installed the 2020 Fusion/Modeo firmware LS7T and applied my AB. After a full system reboot (pulled battery) all comm errors are gone however the fuel gauge is not connected to reality. It sways all over the place and is wildly inaccurate. Tank size and what not are all set correctly and I've told it to use both the IPC and PCM for inputs with no change.

I've tried a different IPC from a 2018 MKX with the same results. The old IPC and the Lincoln firmware shows the correct fuel levels. Older firmware such as JS7T doesn't work as it doesn't have all the settings that the 2020 car needs and results in a bunch of errors. I plan to attempt using the Euro Edge firmware, if I can get my hands on it.

Any other ideas on how to get this working or on how to get the Euro firmware? Ideally Id like to get the Lincoln firmware working without the error.

Maybe try ABD from a similar year Lincoln Nautilus with the 2.7 Engine option and AWD?

Does anyone know where I can get the AB from? I've not had any success with the mastercraft site, it only sends me the redirects. I have a VIN that could work. 2LMPJ8KP8LBL31366

Well, if your trying to download from "mastercraft" site, there's your problem. Regardless, here is a link to the file you want.

Thank you for that. I definitely misspoke and am able to get the ABs from the Motorcraft site. Its the fordtechservice site that's giving me issues.

I was able to load the Lincoln AB which resolved the fuel gauge issue but the wrench remains. I plan on loading the 2020 Fusion firmware and then applying the Lincoln AB and see what happens. Comparing the Lincoln AB to mine highlights a couple of differences in the fuel tank data.

The wrench seems to be related to the 8 speed transmission and the Lincoln firmware not knowing how to handle it despite the correct AB data. The 8 speed was introduced to some Ford models in 2019 but the Lincoln didn't get it till 2021. I don't get the wrench with the 2020 Ford firmware and I do with all the Lincoln firmwares.

I'd love to try the Euro firmware km2t-14c088 if anyone knows how to get it. Its from a 2019 Edge Vignale

Here's the resolution and how I got it to work.

I'm using a 2020 MKZ cluster although I don't think it matters much as long as its relatively current.

Firmware is from a 2020 Fusion
LS7T-14C026-ACJ.vbf
LS7T-14C026-BCJ.vbf
LS7T-14C088-ACJ.vbf
LS7T-14C088-BCJ.vbf

Earlier versions will not like the Transmission Range Control Module and will show a wrench icon but otherwise work.

I loaded my factory AB and made these 2 changes to make the fuel gauge work properly.

720-05-02 xxxx 86B4

One note, do not enable the traffic sign recognition options. It will cause 2 black dots to appear above the speedo needle.
