2022 ford escape daytime running lights

hello, I'm currently working with a 22 ford escape that needs the day time running lamps enabled when in gear. there is a few options in the bcm drop down menu but none seem to activate it. Has anyone had experience with this? vehicle was purchased in the states and brought up to Canada. Ford says an aftermarket solution is required and can not be programmed via fdrs.
