Hi, I recently updated forscan to latest program and now when I connect to vehicles it states PCM read error? Im running a HP windows laptop, I tried to update the obd link through their website but it says it is not a trusted website and will not let me run their update program, has any else had this issue?

Are you using 2.3.69/2.4.21 or 2.3.70/2.4.22 that was just released to address some of the connection and CAN Buss bugs that appeared in 2.3.69 and 2.4.21!

there was a recent firmware update for the EX cable - fix your useless windows machine - no problem at all updating using odbink tool - if it ever says this looks dodgy click go away you halfwit and run anyway...

I have found issues with firmware 5.12.4 failing to load secondary boot loader on superduty clusters, went back to 5.10.x and the issue went away, I’d hold off on updating till the next release.

that’s scary - did you feed that back to odblink / scantool.net ?
