hello everryone.
trying to add remote start key, all is good but I can see in live data that remote start failed because of HOOD SWITCH ,
my car came without hood switch. I tried to connect the two wires of the hood switch but still no change , hood is open in bcm

Are you saying you have the wiring for a hood switch but don't have a hood switch installed? A 2022 should have one - they were standard installations starting in 2011.

Yes. In my country they come with simple key lock and unlock but the remote start exist in the car, and have the wiring, so need disable the hood switch the problem is I dont know where can disable it in Asbuilt .

I don't think you can disable the hood switch & have remote start as its a safety device.
I would check the BCM if the wiring is actually there for the hood switch.
From past experience, perimeter alarm should also be on so the BCM looks at the switch to make it work

Hi Dan. From Israel. It comes here without remote start and its just coding.
The wiring exist I checked one is ground and the other one signal(tested 2.6v)
Looks like the bcm not looking for that hood signal. I put a jumper in that connector just for test but there is no change all same .

If someone can send a solution for this issue I will pay him.

Sometimes, especially with different markets, the BCM firmware is different. For example, the Canadian market has different firmware that will not allow the DRL to be turned off. You may need firmware from a US vehicle. Does your country allow vehicles to have remote start?

I would see if you can turn on perimeter anti theft in the BCM
That would tell the BCM to watch the hood switch along with the doors
Also it needs to be turned on in both the IPC & BCM, once that's done you would need to go into the IPC menu & turn it on
I believe its defaulted to off in IPC on initial programming

I didnt see that option in BCM maybe need to find it in the asbuilt. .
And yes other cars have remote start in my country and also Fords can turn it in just about coding.
