P244D codes - EGT sensor value reset

Hi
I had the wires broken off one of my EGT sensor after something hit the underside of the car. I've replaced the sensor but the car has the P244D codes that can't be cleared from a standard scanner, and they prevent the engine from cranking. I've downloaded Forscan lite for Andriod on a tablet but am waiting for the adapter to arrive. Just wanted confirmation or not that the Lite version can reset the EGT sensor values and clear the codes, or do I require the full PC version?
