Enabling B&O BeoSonic on Ford Puma 2020

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some guidance regarding the B&O Sound System on my 2020 Ford Puma.
Currently, I have the standard B&O settings (Treble, Mid, Bass), but I’ve seen newer models (or updated ones) featuring the BeoSonic interface (the one with the "Bright, Energetic, Relaxed, Warm" touch controller).
I would like to know if it's possible to enable BeoSonic on a 2020 build. Specifically:
Firmware: Is this feature unlockable simply by updating the firmware/calibration files of the APIM and ACM modules?
As-Built: Are there specific lines that need to be modified once the firmware is updated?
Hardware: Or is this tied to a specific hardware revision of the modules that wasn't present in the early 2020 production?
If anyone has successfully performed this upgrade or has the correct calibration versions/As-Built codes, I would greatly appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance!

have a look through this

I changed APIM 7D0-08-02 XXXX XX*X XXXX and DSP 783-01-01 XX1X XX
Everything works as it should. I did try APIM 7D0-01-01 XXX8 XXXX XX as suggested, but all this does is stop the right hand steering wheel controls scrolling through radio stations, so left it as it was

I had actually already tried those specific changes before posting, but unfortunately, they didn't work for me:
• DSP 783-01-01: xx1x xx
• APIM 7D0-01-01: xxx8 xxxx xx
• APIM 7D0-08-02: xxxx xx5x xxxx (I tried using "9" for BeoSonic)
Despite these changes, the BeoSonic interface still doesn't show up in the audio settings.
Are there any other As-Built lines I should look into? Also, would it be helpful if I posted my current module versions (Part Numbers, Strategy, and Calibration) for both the APIM and the ACM/DSP?
I'd prefer to avoid updating the firmware (VBF flashing) if possible, as it’s an operation I've never performed and I'm a bit concerned about the risks of bricking the modules.
Any further advice or "less risky" tests I could try? Thanks again for your help!

Our 71 plate Fiesta already had it. I searched for a DSP with the same coding. They range from stupidly expensive to very cheap. I think I got it for under £40
I’ll check what the build number is and let you know.
Whether you’ll have to change APIM, I’m not sure

This is the DSP module. Ending in AC. It cost me £33
This one is even cheaper

And, if you need it, this is the APIM I got. Ending in GNC. These seem to go for more money. I paid £91
This ones a bit cheaper

To help compare, I’ve retrieved my original As-Built/Factory data from Ford and extracted the current module versions for my Puma 2020. Here is what
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Do these versions look like they could support BeoSonic via a firmware update, or is the hardware (especially the ACM/DSP) fundamentally different from the newer ones you’ve seen?

Sorry. No idea I'm afraid

Quick update on my progress. I’ve managed to get the BeoSonic menu to finally appear on my SYNC 3.4 screen by tweaking the As-Built lines again.
However, I’ve hit a new roadblock: the interface is fully functional (the "circle" moves and I can select different modes like Bright, Relaxed, etc.), but there is absolutely no change in the actual sound output.
Current status:
APIM: Menu is visible and interactive.
DSP/ACM: No audible response to BeoSonic adjustments
I suspect this confirms that my DSP/ACM firmware (Strategy: H1BT-14C589-AK / JX7T-14C302-CR) is too old to "read" the BeoSonic data packets sent by the APIM.

Yes, I could get it all working on my old Focus DSP, but as you say, absolutely no change in sound.
