Forscan crashing?

I have the latest version of Forscan 2.3.70 running on a fairly new laptop with Window 10. Every time I connect to my vehicle to run diagnostics controls for EVAP, Forscan keeps crashing. Everything seems to work just fine but between 5-10 mins in action it just crashes. I lose everything I was doing and have to restart.
Can anyone give me any idea what might be going on here?

Yep thats a good question! I was using the ELMconfig adaptor from quite a few years ago. I just bought and received the vLinker FS USB for FORScan.
You think that was the problem? I haven’t used the new one yet.
