Mustang Sport Mode

I'll admit I'm new to FORScan but I'd love to work with someone on trying to default to sport mode enabled on a 2012 Mustang GT. I've been told there are diff tools out there to compare BUILT configurations. I can read tutorials but I learn by doing. I'm a computer programmer by trade and have reversed engineered programs before. Any direction on where to begin would be appreciated.
