DPF regen on UK Kuga

Hi
Im still getting P2453 after a static regen on a 2010 Kuga....would doing another regen possibly help?
I tried resetting the learned values after the regen, but this failed saying contact the developers...

As far as we can see, the P2453 DTC means problems (mailfunction) of DPF differentlial pressure sensor (the sensor is stuck or sticking). So DPF regeneration would not help... you need to check the sensor somehow.
Does FORScan show you DPS Reset function (Differential pressure sensor reset)? If yes, did you try to run it?
Also, did you check how the DPF pressure PID behaves? if it doesn't change depending on the RPM/speed/load, then DTC says true...

Sorry, we don't know such a details. We are diagnostic tool developers, but not diagnosts and mechanics
But you should be able to find this information in Ford ETIS (that is used instead of workshop manual by owners of European Ford models).

When doing a static regen, should the engine revs increase or should it stay at tick over?

Yes, engine speed should increase. However on Kuga it is possible that the active phase of the regeneration is finished sooner than expected. For example, dedicated regeneration period may be 20 mins, revs increase for 10 min then engine works at idel in the rest 10 mins.
If engine speed never grows but FORScan reports that regeneration is successfully started and shows progress and reports about successful completion, this is weird and may be a problem in FORScan.

Thanks, is there anything you can do? Am I able to send you some logs? I seen a release 2.2 I think which identified an issue with Regen and Kugas.
