Mondeo Duratec HE 2.0 ignition knock.

Hi,

I have an issue with my Mondeo since it is knocking. I am unable to see the knock sensor in ForScan, is that normal,a bug in the software or an issue with my car? (It's a 2001)
I tried disconnecting it but no fault code appears. However when I disconnect the camshaft sensor the fault code appears for both camshaft sensor and knock sensor. This has no appearent effect on the car in idle and when reving, is that normal too?

Have tried taking off the vacuum hose on the inlet mainifold (swirl flaps). They have been checked and found good.

It seems for some reason Mondeo Mk3 with petrol engines, at least some of them, do not support knock PID (alhough it is available in FORScan database).
