what's the difference between this $100 VXDIAG VCX NANO and VCM2 (clone)? My knowledge is the vxdiag is allowed to be updated online but vcm 2 clone will not.what else?

with dealer tool IDS, do following:
1) Go to programmable parameters, select exterior lighting.
2) Change from disabled to enabled in the body control module and instrument cluster module.
3) Follow the directions on screen for cycling the key or ignition on and off.
4) Clear codes. Done.

Elm327 is a scan tool, so it can project only scan function. It can not program ECU modules.

Ya, you need Ford IDS to do this. The vcm and ids can match the pump to the pcm BUT you will need an "incode" from Fords etis computor to enable it to work. oh thats only on digi dash models, the older mk6 without digi dash gives you the option of timed or incode, the timed way makes you wait 12 ...
