Paypro to renew licence not working

Post by gmguy »

Hey guys,

Just tried to renew my licence as it has expired but I keep getting an unavailable message when i click the link and it transfers me to paypro.

Is this possibly due to geo blocking? Have never had this issue in the past - I am based in New Zealand.

Any help would be appreciated

The Paid license link at the FORScan Products Page here (in Canada) is gone again this morning Dec 18 2024 10:00AM(free trial is still available)! Suspect the same old problem of not getting payments from Paypro Global(Canadian Company) to the team in Russia so once again License sales are suspended!

Thank you Sanctions! Not A Geo blocking issue at least it has not been here in Canada as it is likely to be a not getting paid issue!

Last time it was about 3 days and the time before that about a week!

Yeah I just read an update on the main page about it being blocked.

I have an ECU to replace on a 2020 Ranger 3.2, so as it goes I believe I need the paid version not the 2 month trial to do the PATs programming

Not to sure what to do now

It is unfortunate and I have been expecting something like this to happen! I am a little surprised that PAY PRO managed to hold out this long(it happened with the first Payment provider the team used due to Russian sanctions on the first day of sanctions)!

Until FORScan can work out a different payment method and a way to get paid or they allow the trial to work for your particular problem, I see nothing you can do from your end(You can ask them using the support instructions here: https://forscan.org/contactus.htm)!

I contacted the Forscan team and their only suggestion was to have a friend in Russia make a payment for me. I do not know anyone in Russia. I am stuck as well waiting to purchase a license so I can do the PATS programming.

Ayham Kutit has been given approval on a FORScan Facebook group to sell to members.
Here's his FB profile if you want to message him.
https://www.facebook.com/ayham.kutit/

Here's a link to the FB group & the featured post where admins have given approval & the conditions.
The licences are $25 US to cover his PayPal fees & also his transfer fees to get the money to FORScan

Up to you if you join the group to check the post & comments or if you message him directly.

Hope this helps you & others

Thank you! I contacted the individual on FB, paid him via PayPal, and promptly got my license.

Thanks again!

Is the $25 on top of the license fee?

If I read this correctly $25.00US is now the current one year license fee Ayham Kutit is collecting(claims no profit) to cover PayPal fees, currency Exchange and the Currency transfer fees to the FORScan contact in Russia!

Still a bargain for what this program can do compared to a 72 hr License($150.00US) or a one year Licence($900.00US when I last looked) for FORD IDS/FRDS

Yes, $25 US is the full price Ayham Katut is collecting for the 1 year licence. It is still very cheap.
