Hi this does not work, I cannot enter a zero into the app so it says incorrect authorisation code. The same problem others are having here. Can you please correct and inform us if the solution.

Thank you

Scrub that earlier message, I didn't read the instructions properly, you use the Google code to generate a new activation code 🤦. All sorted now

I can say that I couldn't find the purchase history and the email either. But I can say 100% that ever since I bought the app on Google for only a couple of dollars, it has saved me thousands of dollars going to the dealership just to reset the battery monitoring system alone.

So I was happy to repurchase again for $20 AUD (approximately) and have a licensed which I can just store into my email in the important folder.

Thank you devs. Definitely happy to purchase again from you and sorry if google was being an absolute b1tch to you guys.

The Devs and the consumers who support them suffer the most here.

Probably an odd question:

With the move to this licensing method, are we permitted/able to use this on multiple devices? ie: In my case our household has two Ford vehicles and two separate owners/drivers. I have this one license converted and working on my own phone but the other driver I'd like to get them set up with Forscan as well for basic code reading/diagnostic work. And I can't recall if, while still on the Play Store, it was subject to the family library sharing or not.

I'm happy to pay for another license as inexpensive as it is, but wasn't sure if sharing like this was allowed.

Thanks!

I have found the Google Invoice, via your link, but the invoice number does not have any letters in like the example given. The account number is also given , but no letters.

I paid £3.50 on 28/2/2018.

What is GPA & APK, if you are going to use can acronynm, please state after the words in full in brackets, then we know.
Can I use Forscan Lite on two mobile devices as I used to, ie a Samsung Tablet and Moto g6 phone of which I am trying to get Forscan running on that following the purchase of vLinker FS (BT) OBD.

I find Forscan very usefull on a 2014 Mazda 6 2.2d.

There are a few pids that need further explanation.

FORScan wrote: Sat Dec 07, 2024 4:50 am On November 21th, 2024 Google removed our developer's account and all applications from Google Play Market. As a result, license authorization through Google Play services doesn't work anymore: now, the error "This copy of the application is not licensed" is thrown on every run of FORScan Lite for Android Google Play Edition.

This problem will occur for users who purchased FORScan Lite on Google Play Market, only in the following cases:

1. After application's re-installation or transfer to another device.

2. On periodic license check (quite rare event that doesn't happen more than 1-2 times per year).

The problem shouldn't occur on the application update from our site, if the new version is installed over the old one (without removal of the old version). But unfortunately, we are unable to gurantee it.

Considering that Google has announced a refusal to provide Google Play services to Russian developers since 12/26/2024, we've decided to do NOT recover our Google Play account. Therefore, we suggest that users who encounter this problem switch to using FORScan Lite for Android Independent Edition. How to switch:

А. Obtain Google Play order transaction number. For this purpose, please log in to the Google Payments under the account you used to purchase FORScan Lite!, find FORScan Lite there, then find the transaction ID (it starts from "GPA.") and copy it. Example:

Attention! The Google Payments record all payments and the record cannot disappear from there even if the application is removed from the phone and from Google Play Market. So, if your Google Payments don't show FORScan Lite order, then it means that you either look in a wrong place or the order was made using another Google account.

Alternatively, you can obtain the transaction ID from Google Play purchase confirmation email, if you are able to find one:

B. Generate Independent Edition license using the automated service Switch FORScan Lite for Android license.... Please carefully read the instructions displayed by the service and follow it precisely.

C. Download and install FORScan Lite for Android Independent Edition as the following:

C1. Enable "Install from unknown sources" option in the Android settings

C2. Download the application from our site (link).

C3. Install the application. When you try to run the APK, the Google Play Protection will show a warning that claims that this application was built for older version of Android (that is true) and doesn't fit to Google high security requirements (that is not true). It will offer to refuse the installation. You need to be persistent at this stage and select "More options" first, then "Install anyway".

C4. Enter the Activation code. We recommend to copy & paste, to avoid typos.
Hi, I have followed the above steps, got my transaction ID, installed FORScan Lite 1.5.27.3 for Android (Core 2.3.66) Independent Edition.
I am copy-pasting tranID and it gives me message that its not correct.

WHat I can do to get help on this?
Thanks in advance,
Pawel

You should use the transaction ID to generate a License (activation code). See the instructions above starting from point B.
