Recently my wifes 2016 Ford Focus started to shudder when shifting. This culminated in the car giving the error message Transmission overheating pull over to safe place.
We towed the car home and called Ford who told us that her Focus did not qualify for the recent extended warranty TCM fix. After scanning with forscan and confirming the bad TCM we replaced it but now are having issues with the adaptive learning for the new module. When running through the clutch sensor learning I am getting a message that state "Service procedure has been interrupted". I'm at a loss on where to go from here. The TCM is not listed as a module that is able to be programmed alongside the PCM, the only options I have are the key on on demand self test, the adaptive learning, and reboot module.
I don't want to play around too much for worry of damaging or causing further errors in the PCM
Any suggestions or if someone knows how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
I have a Forscan approved cable and the extended license.

Re: Focus TCM replacement programming
a shutter issue is a problem with the clutch or a seized clutch fork
