Diesel injector pilot relearn procedure?

Diesel injector pilot relearn procedure?
Hi all I have a Mondeo 2012 1.6 tdci with the newer 8valve engine.
Has anyone ever replaced an injector and entered the injector code in which case resetting the injector pilot learn values???
I have done this before and it took me 3 hours of driving up and down the motorway in 4th gear getting up to 2500rpm then allowing to decelerate to 1500rpm until eventually getting the values back up to number 7.

What I would really love to know is if there is another quicker/easier method ?
Or am I doing it wrong?
Thanks
Leffe

Last mondeo I did was a 2001. I found the injection system manufacturers manual for the pilot learn procedure.
Only takes about 5 mins on the old mondeo and is done stationary.
It goes along the lines of letting it idle for 30 seconds, then holding it at 1500rpm for a minute, then 2500 rpm for so long etc etc then it's done.

No buddy ended up driving up and down motorway for 4 hours in between 3rd and 4th gradually allowing revs to go up to 2500 then letting drop to 1500 on and on and on .
Only noticed this post as I have just had number 3 injector die on me and so posted to ask if I need to relearn them ALL again if I just reprogram one.
