Apim vbf file

Hi All

I have a dead APIM from 2018 Kuga .. I have done firmware updates successfully but module is still the same

I am looking for the vbf file for JR3T-14G381-Aj or AY . I cannot find this find to download and try

Any help would be muchly appreciated

Hello, I hope this helps you, the files you are trying to download are not vbf but it is sync 3 software from version 3.0.20204 and 3.0.23219, APIM module firmware is something different from SYNC 3 software I have a ford edge 2018 and the files you need depend of you APIM part number

if it is dead and you do not know how to use forscan I recommend that you seek help or buy a new APIM module, you program it with FDRS or you can load your factory as built with FORSCAN if you have a copy or you can get it and voila, I imagine that it does not break alone, you may not look good sometimes forscan offers updates for the module but there are slight changes for example in the hardware letters of your APIM module and when updating it was where it died since it was not for your hardware specifically, see if the recovery function It can help you, FORSCAN is a powerful but not perfect tool and it is in development,Hopefully in the future more security and compatibility will be implemented when updating based on the car's vin and not on modules that look alike as there are hardware differences
