Hello, I am getting
Code: C0034 - Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor
Additional Fault (:15)
- circuit short to battery or open
Status (-AB)
-DTC present at time of request
-malfunction indicator lamp is on for the DTC
I’ve checked the wire going to the sensor connector as far as I can trace it.
The Scope in Forscan is stuck at 255 for the right, and stays at 0 on the left.
I took the sensor out and unplugged it, still stuck at 255, if I short the connection it doesn’t even flinch, stays at 255.
Any ideas what further testing I can do?

Re: Right wheel speed sensor issue
i would just replace the sensor sounds like its gone bad , its looking for a specific resistance when it does it check so leaving it open or shorting it gives the same code , as it says open or shorted.
i am the same as you just a forscan user still learning .
The search function is there for a reason use it.

Shouldn’t open read 0kmph and not 255? It’s reading shorted.
When I close the circuit it still reads 255….

Re: Right wheel speed sensor issue
It did turn out to be the wheel sensor. Thanks.
Now if I can get a spare key programmed for this 2014 fusion, I don’t think PATS works yet for it.
