Hi everyone,
I’m trying to perform a turbo actuator reset (turbo relearn) using FORScan on my 2016 Ford Transit Custom 2.0 TDCi Euro 6, but I can’t get it to complete. When I start the “Reset Turbo Actuator” service function, the commanded position jumps to about 1% and then just sits there indefinitely—sometimes for hours—without moving further or finishing.
I’ve already:
• Verified my ELS27 connection is solid
• Cleared any relevant DTCs
• Confirmed the actuator has power and ground
But the actuator never goes beyond 1%, and the reset never completes. Has anyone seen this behavior before? What troubleshooting steps or additional settings should I check in FORScan to get the turbo reset to run properly?
