Look for menu selection under BdyCm(main), not as built. You normally will not edit as built data on Escape/Kuga. Save as built data before you do anything.
You should read this.

What do you mean by 'You normally will not edit as built data on Escape/Kuga.' ?
Once in a past I used it to add cruise control to my Focus. Every thinking worked great.
What I don't know is the addreses and values I should replace. I tried to compare 726-28-01 as built data for Escape and europan Kuga, but they look the same.
So I guess it might not be the right address.

Kuqa uses central configuration for most changes, not as built data. But there are exceptions. Look at Forscan menu-type or easy method for the function you want.
Re: Reprograming US taillights - Escape 2023
You mean I can find cells in Forscan labelled as "rear fog light" , "rear turn indicator cfg" etc?
That would be awesome

Have you used Forscan? Did you read the tutorial I linked for you? I can't explain it any more.
Re: Reprograming US taillights - Escape 2023
In the past, yes.
I've done many things with forscan in my previous cars - oil service, cruise control activation, battery replacement, turning off start-stop system and so on...
I just was pretty sure that I won't find labelled cells because my version is from US.
I haven't plugged in to my new Escape, it's in a body shop now.
I just wanted to know if I would be able to switch what's necessary or if need to order a towing truck to some electric workshop.
BTW, I couldn't find any Escape spreadsheet in that link.

Dude, you're killing me....
There are no spreadsheets. 90% of changes are done using menu selections due to central configuration type module architecture.

Re: Reprograming US taillights - Escape 2023
For clarification, Escape modules are mostly compatible with Kuga ones - like you can enable rear fog light on an US Escape, as both BCM and IPC are able to use it (you'll just need an European light switch and some wires from BCM's "unused" pin).
Either sheets or menus, the configuration is module oriented. Some Escape 4G/Kuga Mk3 modules are quite well decoded (BCM, IPC), some not fully decoded (like ABS), and some not at all (like TRM). For all of them you can edit the "as built" (in hex). For the decoded ones you can use the menu edit version (though this may not have all the setting found in the "as built").

Sorry to resurrect this thread, TxF, but I saw elsewhere that you successfully enabled rear fog lights on your Escape. Can you please tell me which lines you changed and what you changed them to? Or did you enable them using the decoded (non hex) buttons within the tool?TxF wrote: Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:42 pm For clarification, Escape modules are mostly compatible with Kuga ones - like you can enable rear fog light on an US Escape, as both BCM and IPC are able to use it (you'll just need an European light switch and some wires from BCM's "unused" pin).

I'm having trouble getting rear fogs enabled, although I've had success with front fog. Thanks in advance for your help.
