Digital Guage Readout

Post by Blotto »

I have a 2019 F150 Lariat and sum what new to forscan, I have did a little changing / programing on the truck but still rusty. I was wondering why the digital readout doesn't include the oil pressure displayed digitally? Also reverse tilt mirrors how do you program the left one to tilt in reverse?
Any feedback would be appreciate...
Thanks T.

Dont know your particular model, but on most Fords only the ST versions have oil temp and pressure gauges, your best bet if you want one is install an aftermarket unit far cheaper and easier.
As for the tilting mirrors you need the electric memory seats option as the mirrors need the memory position of mirror to enable that feature, your standard ones wont have this.
Note just because the option may be available in the module doesnt mean it will work without additional hardware. Ford use 1 module for many varients and leave options turned off. You can try enabling them some may well work ok, others need additional parts.

The different clusters (IPC) have different firmware. Swapping clusters does not always work and some functions may be lost. Some users have been able to reverse engineer the changes needed to install an upgraded cluster in their base model vehicle but it takes all lot of testing and research.
