No OBDII Mode 6 Test

Post by 65Terdlingua »

Hello,

I have a 2018 F150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost and I'm trying to run the Mode 6 test to monitor cylinder misfire on 5 & 6 as I move coils around and do some diagnostics. I've paid for the full license, have v2.3.67 installed, using a new OBDLinkEX connector, but I don't seem to have OBD2 Mode 6 as an option under the Vehicle Tests tab on the left. I only see OBD2_PCM Read System Monitor Status. Anyone else had this issue? I'm letting Forscan auto configure the connection since it doesn't have a physical switch, and can't think of much else that could cause Mode 6 not to show up unless the vehicle doens't support it, and I'm pretty sure it does.

Any help would be appreciated!

2.3.67 has a bug. Mode 6 is missing. Try an earlier version.

That’s extremely helpful, thank you! Works on v2.3.66.
