Good evening all,
I’m having trouble identifying an issue with a 2012 transit 2.2 euro 5 rwd,
It has come too myself after it suffered an engine failure driving abroad, it had a new engine, turbo, injectors, egr, map sensor,
I’ve redone the plug on the loom to the turbo and maf,
However I keep getting P2564 :00-A7 a fault with the turbo that comes back the second the engine has started,
Anyway I discovered that if you disconnect the plug to the dpf pressure sensor and do a scan you get P2455:00-A7
Which has got me thinking what do the subcodes 00-A7 mean as I’m hoping that where the plug is on the same piece of the loom as the turbo the subcodes may have the answer I need!
Cheers
Dan

Re: Help needed understanding dtc subcodes
The sub codes as you call them are giving further information.
The initial pxxxx gives the general fault like egr valve, the su codes could be telling you power supply short to ground for example. Forscan will give you the written description that comes with the code, including faults with sub codes.
They are a more detailed address of the problem if you like.
