ELM327 v1.5 says no longer compatible with vehicle

Hi all,

I bought the ELM327 OBD v 1.5 (with MS/HS CAN switch) with forscan a few years ago (2021) and used it with my Ford Transit Custom 2014 and all worked well.
I've gone to use it again recently, and whilst it scans and seems to work ok, it does say that it is not compatible with the vehicle now (the exact same vehicle). Is there a more up to date one? or any recommendations on what one i now need? A USB one would be preferrable as I connect it to a laptop.
