Module Firmware Update

Post by waynemodz »

Hello

This ecu lost the VID after flashing sadly. starts but does not boost , and MFD goes blank.

My calibration is AS61-12A650-GJ.

Forscan downloads a zip file and PHF file, when trying to write it says
"Error opening file"
C:\Fiesta/AS6G1GJ

I'm not sure why its a forward slash on the file and no extension.
I tried the default folder same error

Any help will be highly appreciated!

Do you have a paid licence & the latest 2.4.19beta installed?
Are you able to get the VID block screen to open to enable you to populate it with data?

Screenshots are very helpful for us to see exactly what is going on. Attach them or host them in the cloud & provide a link.
Even attach the vehicle profile which is found by pasting this into the taskbar search
%appdata%\FORScan\vehicles

I hope 2.4.9 beta is a typing error. The current version is 10 versions newer 2.4.19 beta

That's a clear example of why you should always make sure you are using the most recent software version & firmware for any adapter.
