Question about FORScan coverage for key programming and module functions

Post by yoel7412 »

Hello,
I would like to know which model years are supported by FORScan when it comes to key programming (PATS) and module configuration/programming.
Could you please tell me the approximate range of years (for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda vehicles) that FORScan fully supports for these advanced functions?

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,
Yoel

To add to boosted-diesel reply, there is not a list of vehicles Forscan supports and/or has PATS functions. Most users only have one or two vehicles they are working on so finding information on those specific vehicles is possible. But mechanics who work on anything from 1990s to 2020s have to learn from trial and error.

Not all models are supported equally. F150s seem to have the most support/functions available for all model years. Less popular models any not have much support at all.

It would be good if they or we pipe build a chart for that as it's a very commonly asked question.
Another being about the other general functionality compatibility. If we could make those it would be awesome.
